I picked up season tickets for the first time and I have no regrets.

However I am beyond frustrated at this loss. Pathetic and embarrassing.

Got season tickets for the first time this year, that said Ive attended enough USF BB over the years to know what I'm getting into.

Just one game. Luckily in basketball there are at least 28 games left. So i am hoping tonight was just an off night.

that's exactly what it was.

can't imagine there will be  many nights where we shoot 6% from 3.

can't imagine there will be many nights where our opponent shoots over 50% from 3.

even with that we were still in it with a minute left.

kind of sad that people are embarrassed or that they make this out to be anything other than an off night.

Getting a little good vs SC Upstate or whoever they were isn't really good despite what Pancho says. He's come across as the guru on basketball because he watches games and highlights.  Knowing USF athletics and the recent history is much more important. Not regretting the decision to not buy men's tix this season.

Why would you say I come across as the guru of basketball? I never claimed to be any such thing. We lost this game for many reasons. The main factor was just missing open shots. This happens. It's one game. Let's see how the season plays out?

Exactly! I still think this team will win 20+ games. In that prediction, I stated that we would lose game because we shoot poorly and/or the other teams shoots better than they normally do.

it happens even to the best of them.

why hasn't there been more talk about 26 of 31 from the line?

dribble penetration was excellent

the way to win in today's game is to attack the basket (drawing fouls is the most efficient way to score and when you shoot 80% from the line that equals 1.6 points per possession. that's like shooting 50%+ from 3) and shooting 3's.

Attack the rim and shoot 3's.

I couldn't be happier that we are running an offense like this now.

Sounds like the team pulled a "Colorado" after winning so big last week.

Does anyone have any insight on the rotation?  I mean I understand that CAAR wants his players actions in practice and games to dictate the rotation, but does that help our continuity?  This loss sucks, but our shooting this game was absolutely off 31% is beyond terrible.  We only had 11 TO and still won the battle of the boards.  FT shooting was lights out minus the 2 misses at the end.

The craziest part about our shooting being so BAD was that it was like CMU couldn't miss.  They were hitting everything for a while there.  The one guy from CMU (forgot his name) had a career best night.
