Seems like best use of portal for USF might be is getting talent that's proven they can ball at the FCS level. See Simmons and Ross producing here now. The p5 transfers that never got playing time or much looking for a new home are a gamble...there is a reason they didn't play alot and it's usually not they were on a team so deep they didn't need services.

Hard to argue with this. Some of the best players on the team right now are home-grown on the roster or from the FCS.

Hopefully some of these other p5 receivers start contributing this year besides just Brown.
