In 2016, Genshaft contracted The Beck Group – a Dallas-based construction company – to do a concept plan of a 50,000-seat on-campus stadium. When originally evaluated for costs in 2017, the price was estimated at $200 million – $140 million less than its current estimated price tag.

15,000 more seats for $140 million LESS, let's make it even BIGGER!! We can get this whole stadium for under $100 million! Plus, we'll need about 100,000 seats once Tampa becomes a college town after USF wins it's 10th Natty.

Looking through their portfolio on their website, they've done a few USF buildings (including the Marshall Center), some work with Tampa International, a lot of churches. Only real football stuff I found in their portfolio was a renovation of Duke's stadium and Baylor's IPF, so I'm curious what their vision would have been. On the other hand, Populous has a lot more experience it seems with football and futbol stadiums, with a lot of different looks available in their portfolio.
