Well....I am certainly on the side of AAU having the most importance to an educational institution, however suggesting that we were all focused on that the last 15 years is hogwash.  And with that accomplished now, it's time to take care of football.  Right.  That will draw the klowns.

We are a much better institution, no one can argue otherwise.  So it's a nice topic to point to when football is in the dumps.  No doubt.  Think how wonderful it would be to have a great academic and athletic reputation.  One day.

It is getting there. I find it funny that the article comes out now. Why did they wait ?? I’m pretty sure they are probably doing anything to throw shade on USF’s recent accomplishments such as the OCS soon to become reality. Basically it has rattle a lot of haters…

I was referring to the YouTube video in your post more so than the Baker Brothers.  I don't read the St. Pete Times even though I got an offer of 6 months for one penny, or something like that.

This thread proves to me that regardless of people's feelings ( both UCF and USF fans,) USF and UCF are still rivals, and will be so in the future as well. It doesn't matter that we no longer are in the same conference. A USF-UCF rivalry is healthy for both institutions

It is in USF’s best interests right now to not engage in this rivalry.  Maybe years down the road when USF is in the ACC they could agree to play UCF for a 2 for 1 deal with 2 games in Tampa…
