1st team - Andre Hall

2nd team - Ric Watson

                John Miller

                Frank Davis

                Terrance Royal

                Stephen Nicholas

                Mike Jenkins

                Johnnie Jones

I think more should have made the first team but I guess this is the best we can expect since it is our first year in the league even though Louisville had 10 1st teamers.

USF's Hall Named First-Team Big East

Published: Nov 23, 2005  ???

TAMPA - University of South Florida record-setting running back Andre Hall, a first-team All Conference USA selection last season, was named to the All-Big East first team.

Hall was USF's only first-team selection, but seven Bulls were named to the second team - offensive linemen Frank Davis, John Miller and Thed Watson, defensive end Terrence Royal, linebacker Stephen Nicholas, strong safety Johnnie Jones and cornerback Mike Jenkins.

Hall is USF's first two-time first-team all-conference pick. Safety J.R. Reed is USF's only other first-team pick, in 2003 in C-USA.

West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez, who led the Mountaineers to the Big East title, was named Coach of the Year, while Louisville QB Brian Brohm and DE Elvis Dumervil were the league's offensive and defensive players of the year.

The team was selected by the league's eight coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
