The first season of Publix Stadium at Jim Leavitt Field will be a sellout.

But after year one when the hype dies off, if we're still in AAC...ohh boyyy

Hoping the meeting doesn’t get pushed back due to the developing storm.

It did. Hurricanes must be jealous of our OCS.

If usf  puts a good product on the field the hype will only grow.

The OCS had better include a shade structure, though. Otherwise, all bets are off.

Hopefully we did extensive research. From Wikipedia ....

Snapdragon Stadium opened for a SDSU scrimmage on August 20, 2022.[27] The first game in the stadium was played on September 3,[28] ending with the Aztecs being defeated 38–20 by the Arizona Wildcats.[29] The game occurred during a heat wave, resulting in heat illnesses among attendees that required the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department to send five ambulances and three fire engines to treat around 200 people, 20 of which were hospitalized.[30][31]By kickoff, the game started when the temperature reached 100 °F (38 °C), with attendees retreating from the seating area and into shade. On social media, the stadium design was called into question by fans because of the lack of shade.[32]

Same line of thinking but I’d be impressed (and surprised) if they were able to swing a full season of actual sellouts. First game yes, not so sure after that unless it’s a big name OOC team.

One thing I have not seen discussed directly is the impact of our new look conference on visiting fan attendance. Obliviously that’s not your primary audience, but it certainly helps the cause playing teams with established fan bases that can help fill a stadium.

Honestly, though, have we really had any conference mates since leaving the BE, outside of the vermin, that would really help fill a stadium ....?

How are you not excited for UNT, Rice, Charlotte, and Fau?

Yes, Louisville. They were in the AAC for a season.

How many tickets do you think they are saving out for opposing fans in 35K stadium? I am thinking 1000 to 2000 but have no clue. I doubt many teams bring more than that in the new AAC.
