This was somewhat of a rebuilding year after losing Corrick and they still won 32 games.  They should be back to a top team next year as long as their two freshman pitchers continue to develop.

I'm still scratching my head that we have these gaps in recruiting when we have a former NT coach and more than decent facilities.  Does CKE actually do any of his own recruiting or does he delegate that or expect players to just come calling?

Top 3 finish in confere is pretty good for a rebuild year. If only our mens programs could pull that off.

It’s still a good program, but the most disappointing thing is that we have lost TWELVE straight against Oviedo CC. This is one program that should be immune to a streak like that - in the same state, in the same conference, with a better facility and the head coach of the USA National Team. This is one team that should not be dominated by the Gnats like that. It’s a level playing field - or actually should be tilted toward us.
