Some really clutch performances last night in the hoops and baseball games that need recognition. The three from Ryan Conwell and the free throws by Sam Hines and Serrell Smith were so tough. On the diamond, a ninth-inning, pinch-hit 3-run HR from Jackson Mayo ties it and a two-out, two-strike triple by Daniel Cantu gives us the lead. Really ballsy efforts by all of those guys in crunch time.

Mayo showed no emotion and absolutely crushed that ball.  Serrell Smith should be in the game with a lead as another ball handler.  Unreal to hit 4 FTs when sitting for 39 minutes.  Conwell has grown immensely as the season has gone on.  Hopefully he doesn't enter the portal as that is the way of the world now.  3 winnable games left before the tourney.

Agree with all of this. 

Let me add. Dulcy, Elena, Sammie all putting up big numbers on Senior night. (Elena missed a double double by 1 assist). Marina 4/5, 4/5, 2/2 for 14 points, and Carla Brito with the hustle play of the year. (dives over the courtside seats to save a ball, picks herself up, finds the opening to get back on the court, runs the length of the court, to pull down the rebound).

Marina hitting 4 of 5 threes was huge. Right when we needed a spark. Brito, gonna love watching her mature for the next three years.
