Damned if you do, damned if you don't. What we do know is we tend to make the wrong choice majority of the time. When it comes to coaches we are 2-3 right now. Leavitt and Taggart were good hires. Strong, Holtz, and Scott were bad hires. While I personally would have preferred a coach with experience, you never know how these hires work out. At the time I thought Holtz was a homerun hire, but surely that didn't work out. Leavitt came in without college HC experience, and he was the best hire we could possibly have made. Hoping that Golesh works out for us, and I think he has had a good start when it comes to recruiting. Regarding who would have been the better hire; Herman or Golesh, we will have clarity about that in the next few years since FAU will be our direct rival.

Right. He had to start somewhere. Let's hope Golesh has similar success. I lean with you guys and would have preferred some HC experience. But it is what it is now. We will either succeed or we will be clearing house in the Athletic leadership side of the house. Edited February 12, 2023 by Sk00b
