In Leavitt's defense, he really didn't have much of an option when it came to an OC. If you remember, Hobbie quit shortly before the season.

Exactly ... OC quit right around the spring game and we don't have a budget to hire outside.

Don't know why Franks didn't get it though.

He is taking all the responsibility for the non field goal.  Said he hasn't slept since and has been beating himself up since.  He said it was a mistake which worked against TCU.

He knows he blew it.  He has not even mentioned Rod's name.  It is all on him.  He said it is over and all we can do is our best against West Virginia.  I agree.
