to cold weather teams in big east

why leavitt let that loser mentality invest the team is beyond me

we had a chance to step in miami's shoes and blew it

And there, in a nutshell, is why Smazza is not worth reading.  A guy who thinks a 9 year old program have the experience and skill of a team that's won 5 national championships.

My man Smith?  I didn't know who the hell Rod Smith was when he was appointed OC, and now I know why he was a no-name.

I know!  Why don't we just hire Pete Carroll to be our OC?  Oh wait, because he wants 3 million a year and NINE YEAR OLD programs dont' have that kind of cash!

The Nine Year Old "excuse" isn't a free-pass for our players and coaches, but a legitimate reason why our DONATION LEVELS AND FUNDING can't fund a big-name coach yet, Steve.  I guarantee you that 50 "big name" coaches would come here if we ponied up $5M a year, but guess what?  WE DON'T HAVE IT!

Stick to your bandwagoning L.A. ways, dude.  Living in La-La land has affected your ability to comprehend reality.
