What makes anyone think Leavitt could replicate what he did all those years ago? He hasn't been a head coach since USF. Also, USF as a university is a MUCH different animal than when he was HC. We don't admit the same borderline academic qualifiers that he was able to snag back then.

Hire Leavitt now. Demote CJS to where he last "succeeded"  co-oc. Tell CJS he can keep his salary or he could be a man and donate half of it to the OCS fund per year. He would still be making 1.25 mil

Can he do better than 1-22? The answer is yes so there is no harm is trying to reconcile the wrongs of the past and bring some life to USF Football. Hell make Scott co-coach. Lock him in the press box with no head set. Pay him but not let him have any say or involvement with the team. He can sit there shamed and collect a check  for as long as he wants or MK Ad allows. Yes I know this isn't going to happen but it would be a lot better than what are seeing from the football team now.

Exactly! All any Coach at USF needs to do is win 7 games a season and they are a legend

7 wins per season  while building a program from nothing looks like a real legend compared to 1 fbs win in 2.5 seasons.
