do we still go here...

what if some how Louisville loses to UConn next saturday and we don't beat WV?

Big East will have 5 teams with 6 wins.  4 bowls.

Going into this season all I wanted was a bowl game.  It is disappointing to have those hopes raised by a possible BCS game and this loss is hard to swollow.

However,

if we get to a bowl in our first season in t he big east i will consider it a good season.  it could be better, but we have a lot to build on.

My mood and I am sure 1000s of others have also changed tonight.  Without a win vs wv we wont bring diddly to the car care bowl.  500 fans max.

Im very upset right now BUT ill be there next week and at the Bowl game. But i expect some changes if not now then at the end of the season.

If Rod Smith still our OC next year i dont know what ill do.

Just my thinking....

1. UCONN will not beat L'ville...

2. USF will not beat WVU...

3. USF doesn't need to go to a bowl this year if we're not

   capable of BEING COMPETITIVE WITH A TEAM WHICH  

   HAS A LOSING RECORD...

4. At the beginning of the year, I thought winning 4 games

   would be just peachy-keen. Finishing up as we apparently

   will finish surpassed my line of thinking.

come on....you guys are upset because of the loss tonight but geez, it was still a good season.  if we lost to say, louisville or something earlier in the year and won this game to get to 6 wins everyone would be estatic and ready to go to a  bowl game no matter what.

there was a few whispers (media prematurely trying to hype up a long shot situation about USF making the BCS) and now everyone around here acts like they are too good for the car care bowl.
