Found this nugget in an ESPN article... at the top of the article nonetheless. The writer never mentions USF in the article, however the fact the national media is paying attention (at least a little bit) should be concerning if you're in the Scott camp. Hopefully all of the noise dies down after we beat UF in Gainesville in two weeks.

Looks like the national media is catching on to what a lot of folks on this board knew already.  The sad part is because of the contract extension he’s here at least through next year and then another coaching search…wash rinse repeat

Good news with that is the 12 team playoffs won’t probably start until 2024 or 2026 with the OCS slated to open. So hopefully USF hits a home run if this coaching staff does work out.
