I've heard he's in the 2-Deep from the start.  Do you think he'd make that at the other programs he's looking at from the beginning --- I can see him with the attention of a Dumervil (sp?) if he plays his cards right.

Collecting some nice talent at DT thus far...

Justin Jenkins and Leslie Stirrups are fantastic gets for USF.  We are still in the hunt for a 4-star JUCO DT. Then again, the last 4-star JUCO DL was a bust so let's just keep builing momentum for the Feb 3rd Signing Day.

There are rumors swirling around that USF has a couple of silent verbals that the recruiting sites have yet to uncover.

I would mind seeing us add Colin McCarthey and Chris Duvalt as our next gets.

No.  That's why they call it a VERBAL.

My main concern with Mr. Stirrups isn't with him signing, but with him qualifying.  

I spoke with his dad, who is a State Trooper and who was one of the escorts for the team when they bused to Miami.  He was really pushing for USF.

its nice to get a verbal of this size early on in recruiting... this should help sway some other bigger names, like Duvalt/T.Ingram, hopefully solidify J. Jenkins, and get some others looking at us.

Imagine if we can win out... watch the flood gates open!

That would be a nice pickup... especially considering he committed to us, then decommitted when he saw all the QB's we had... maybe he saw denson play and Pat Carter never arrive and is willing to change his mind back to us ;D ;D
