That took a ton of thought. And special logic. The kind of logic you get from the expensive stuff on the side of a mountain in Colorado, watching the sun go down, and come back up again. Fun to read though. One must first experience ego death to see that all things are connected and that USF is already B1G.

If we can really continue to excel these next 3 years while FSU is in their legal battle - why wouldn't USF become a viable target for the B1G? Ultimately I think the best case scenario for USF is that FSU lawsuit takes a couple of years, USF (obviously) continues to win in media draw sports, we win our conference at least once in both sports, flirt with or make the CFP, FSU settles for a sum that no other ACC school can handle in the short term, and then FSU goes to the SEC and is paired with Kansas. This will not only open the door for USF to the ACC, potentially become a player for the B1G, remove the top remaining brand from the B12, stabilize the ACC further until nearly 2036, and (hopefully) increase support across the board for USF from fans, alumni, and local business alike. Support, show up, donate. Go Bulls. WOW. That took a ton of thought. And special logic. They saw UCF realigned as a P4 with significantly higher revenues, while USF and Miami gained AAU status (and they didn't somehow). It would make sense that they were feeling mounting pressure as other instate programs are gaining ground on them. UF is affected as well, wanting to hold onto their monopoly. Too bad for them as change is coming.

We do have AAU which is a big deal, and is largely about research (other things too). While it is possible them stay, either because they are stuck, or because the ACC finds away to be more attractive to their top teams, it seems more likely that divorce is coming. Not sure why you are comparing USF and FSU's academic standards. I simply said FSU's aren't good enough for the B1G. USF's probably aren't either, but as you pointed out we do at least have AAU status. Miami is more B1G material than FSU. I could see FSU in the SEC, if Florida weren't so scared of them. The SMU/CalFord additions don't help ACC football much as they've not been very successful recently (IMO). Sadly we've had years of losing until finally changing that last season. Let's keep building our program and bully our way into the conversation. We have so much to offer, but it's hard to ask for consideration over potential. All three in big cities. Contrast that with the SEC programs related to them being smaller and more even all around. Interesting. I love these charts. Thankfully those big 12 & big ten shills are just basically fanboys & have no idea how the next realignment will end up breaking. USF will be fine when all said is done & then we will see those peeps backtrack
