P6 ? , What does that mean?

 

What does that mean?  

Will Fox and ESPN give the AAC a bigger contract?

Will the AAC be part of the playoffs?

Will the AAC be represented in a NYD bowl?

and what about the Mountain West and BYU? They are not much different than the AAC.

(I just think the playoffs need to go to 8 teams)

For me the issue has always been more about fair and equal access to bowls and the playoffs than money (although of course money is very important in order to to compete). While teams will always (or at least very often) want to shift conferences because of better TV money, I can tolerate that so long as the AAC is getting a fair shake in terms of access.

THIS!  Without more money the AAC can call itself an NFL division and it wouldn't matter.

I agree, one spot for each of the P5 champions, one spot for the highest ranked G5 team, and two at-large spots.

what if that G5 team isn't even ranked in the top 25?  Do they still "deserve" it?
