Soooo if we get into the Big 12, would that make the 2019 Texas game a conference game? Lol

I'm just hoping that we can get in based on our market like Colorado. They weren't doing anything in the Big12 before going to Pac12

Bowlsby is a push over and two schools will drive what they do. Texas and Oklahoma.

UCF/USF package is going to be one of the strongest bids out there. Texas can pitch more money helping both schools sports programs all around. Getting Texas and Oklahoma with a real Florida footprint being able to take their teams to their alumni out here and also recruiting the state. The T.V market sizes for both are also pretty solid compared to any other pair you could add. They saw what USF could do and they know with the right support it can get back.

More to it then wins and losses. UCF/USF was rumored to be high on the list when the B12 expansion was mentioned before. WVU wants USF in its conference and it helps them out travel wise as well. It just works and the division alignment works as well when you look at the map.

You guys are looking way too much at results and I could be wrong but I have always had this feeling. Cincy’s stadium will hurt them in my mind. UCF has space to expand; USF will be building in the next 5-6 years if you ask me. Nippert can only hold ~40,000 and they had to exhaust every option of useable space just to do that. UCF/USF is the best package out there for the viability of the conference. It expands the footprint and that is a big part of why the Big Ten expanded…you know that conference that just knocked out.

USF may need to lean on its pretty strong non-revenue Olympic sports, strong WBB, the growing MBB team, add in a plan to improve football and you have a much stronger bid then many think with the improved facilities. The same facilities that programs like Missouri, Nebraska, and many others came to visit for ideas at their schools.

Again could be wrong, but just my two cents and maybe some hope lol.

Does Texas want revenge for the SEC cutting into their recruiting ground? Does recruiting Florida really mean that much to the Big xii? Will Texas share the pie with more people? Do we remember that Temple was demoted? Do you know Brett McMuffin controls realignment in his wood shed?

Stealing this lol.

Use it wisely. With great power comes great responsibility.

Not even on some radars. Wow how we have fallen. Not that these guys know anything.

Didn't hurt TCU. They know not every program can support a 70K OCS. Kansas State's stadium only holds around 50K

I think UCF/USF Combo makes a hell of a lot more sense than either individually. TV market size, especially if Texas has a big say. Don't forget they have the Longhorn network to grow. Need viewers.

One other factor to consider. There has been a lot of complaining about the travel issues that WVU has dealt with. Adding just UCF or USF without the other creates the same issue.

The smart move, for everyone involved should be to add UCF, Cincy, Memphis and USF.

Creates easy travel games if broken into divisions. Good football and basketball markets, good recruiting and good market sizes.

Just saying UCF deserves it because they have been is really shortsighted. They were at least 2 miracle plays and a non PI call from being a 6 loss team this year. That team loses most of their playmakers this year and their 2 year run of amazing luck isn't going to last forever.

Memphis finally won a conference for first time since 1971. Yeah, they add a lot of football tradition.

Results on the field go up and down. The business side of things is what the powers that be should be looking at. Will they? Who knows.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
