It also doesn't hurt that UF and Georgia are in the same conference

well Fla/Ga pay because of conference obligations...

OK, got it. I'm pretty sure there are many one sided non-conference rivalries out there.

If its one sided its not a rival. Just a game that is convenient between both schools.

Tell that to Florida/Florida State or Carolina/Clemson or Oklahoma/Texas.  All pretty one-sided lately.

UCF is a HUGE rivalry for us? No way in hell.

Why should it be, just because the waiter at the Rainforest cafe tries to bag on USF and my USF gear when he is brings me and my wife our food?

They are close to us, but other than that I could care less what they do. Maybe I might care if they were in a better conference or and equal conference. But until then its a no win situation for us.

I never said they were a huge rival for us.  The, "win" for us is, it is a close non-conference D1-A game.  That in itself is enough for me to want to continue this series.

I find it humorous whenever someone says we shouldn't play UCF they are below us, and then read that FSU, UM, and UF should schedule us. Let's face it, we are not in the same league with FSU, UM, UF (YET). I would put it  the Big 3, us, and then the rest of Florida. UF did not want to play FSU but now it is one of the nations largest rivalries. We should play UCF just to have another game, most of us can attend the away games without even an overnight stay. It saves on travel costs, and is another 1-A game.  Just my 2 cents.
