If you read the ESPN article, it could be Covid related and it's a heart condition also brought on by the flu or common cold.  I stopped reading after that.  Misleading.

I was talking to a co-worker about the stoppage he lives in Champaign IL and is  Illini alum...he thinks the presidents threatening to cancel the season and the players wanting to play is under the guise of Covid and is really around a negotiation between the school and the players...that is the real game here...

See's no benefit to paid education, just money.  Doesn't figure in how CFB funds Title IX.   

There's a lot of "wishful thinking" in his "take".

By the way, if the massive amount of data that we have supports irreversible heart damage...nobody should leave their house...forget about any professional or collegiant sport league...but guess what, the data does not indeed support these claims...
