Why don't we play a freshman

You know, the most popular player on any team is the back-up QB.  What makes you guys think that C. Hill is any better at this point than Julmiste?  

How bad could he be?  He was ranked high as a recruit.  Let's see what he has.

We all want to win.  He could be a lot worse (I know that's hard to do).  If you go to him, you've given up on the season.

I don't know Gary.  I think CJL has the loyalty streak in him, with his players and his coaches.  So, even when they are bad, and he knows it, he sticks with them out of loyalty.  He needs to wake up or his loyalty will cost him his job.  He needs to go outside of the system and find a fresh OC and play someone else at QB.  That being said, if we manage to win enough games this year to be bowl eligible, I don't think it will be becuase of the offense.  I will still think PJ and Rod Smith need to go.

I've got to agree with 'mania.  CJL's loyalty may ultimately be his undoing, a la Tony Dungy.  Smith's playcalling, while creative vs. UL, is nothing but tired and bothersome in the next two games.  Another  reverse?? In the red zone??  I mean come on!!!  My opinion is let's see what happens next week vs WV.  If the Julmiste/Smith experiment blow up again, let's move on.  I think that C. Hill should get some regular reps at QB.  Run the old UF theory and rotate every other series.  Hell, let Denson in and have a 3-headed QB.  It is once again being proven that the "mind" and "arm" behind our offense, is putrid.

I say we should use both freshmen, make them no. 1 and no. 2 and play the better one that week. Everyone say save them for the future, what if they turn out not that good. At least we can use Hill at wr's if needed, because we can be in the same boat in years to come. Play the young kids now, let them take there lumps now not later. ??? ??? ???
