  1. Everyone keeps talking about people coming to the games. When did; USF ever average more than 4000 people per game. Give the coach a chance to build the program, its just his first year in the big east. Not even huggins would have won with that team. >
  2. Remember, alot of kids dream of going to these big schools. So if given the oppertunity to go, they're going to sign with there dream school. So the kids that are not rated high, sometime no fault to them they get overlooked. To tell if a kid is going to be ant good, you have to wait and see after about 2 years. So to rank a team is mostly a gamble, 60 is a long way from no.1. But only a couple of players away from 20's and 30's. Just be cool and wait see, alot of you will be surprised. ;D
  3. No coach you named, would have a winning record with the team we have right now. I noticed on this board, alot of you are quick to fire the coach when things aren't going our way. Thats not going to help us get better recruits or a winning program. Lets give the coaches a chance to build the program, and I think he's doing a dam good job with what he has. ???
  4. That does not determine the strenght of a player, he may only can do 1 rep of each. That not what the combines use to test the strenght of a player, they do check for max strenght in those drills. But real strenght shows up when you reach alot of reps in each catagory. A while back Kenyatta said they were more interested, how many time he can bench 225 and I think he did 37 times. Some of the strongest player can't do that more than 15-20 times. Now I just used Kenyatta as an example, he was very strong and could have done those drills.
  5. Do everyone think there not trying to recruit the best players, sometimes you have to find a diamond in the rough. Alot of those schools are recruiting illegally, but not getting caught. Were are not in a position to try to recruit like that. Cause we will get caught, and that will futher push us back in tryin to recruit the so call blue chippers. Remember there are 119 d-1a schools, and look whose the same teams there every year in the top ten. Give them a chance, it olny can get better,
  6. It was is attitude towards Bobby Bowden and lack of playing time. He will have the same problem here, we don't have no one to get this guy the ball. but I don't mind the gamble if he wants to come here.
  7. And by the way Carlton Hill was recruited as an athlete, who played QB in high school. By no way its rod smiths fault, and any other OC would have had the same problem this year.
  8. Ask the players which stadium they like, 90% would say the new RJS. Thats why most of them came here, to play in a pro stadium. I enjoy the stadium nice atomsphere, hope they stay there for a long while.
  9. I guess it would have better, if they were doing the riverdance. Let it go, just another form dancing.
  10. Smith did help MB with the spread offense, the same offense he helped Clemsom with. And I think they should have went back to that offense, it would have help PJ out alot. I know andre was the focal point this year. He would have ran for the same amount if not more yards. But a coach can only coach with what he have, and PJ wasn't a pure QB, skill wise. Hopefully Marquel become a GA and help out.
  11. only if he improves a 1000%, to be honest, I think that pj last game at QB. I not trying to be funny,he's a good person and a team player, but he should move to tight end. He knows all the routes, and it benefit him alot with his speed.
  12. I think it would have helped C Hill development, if he was red shirted, and learned while on the scout team. Because if you remember, after Marquel redshirt year, he clearly better than Gaunett after the green and gold game. And also he also fumbled as a freshmen, but he did improve alot. Give the kid one more to develop and see how he does. And the last couple of practices I saw b4 they left for the bowl game, he did look better than pj. He should have played more, yea he fumbled but give him a chance to take his bumps. He goin to be real good, I hope.
  13. It all come down to the players, we just have to hope everyone improves. It always easy to blame the coaches, when players don't perform well. To me the coaching staff did ok, for what they had. An average team at best. After the louisville game everyone expectation was real high, and the truth is we caught a good team off guard. Give the young talent time to gel together.
  14. I hope he's not serious, he aleast needs to build his rep by dominating the big east first. I would hate to see this type of talent wasted. Is his grades ok, that the only reason I could think of. plz someone tell him to think about. ???
