Anyone else cringe when you hear this before the band hits the field?  I have nothing against the announcer, but it sounds so cheesy.  Can we start a petition or something?   The last 4 games he said this, we lost.  Coincidence??  Maybe a FireHOTAnnouncerGuy.com site is needed?

he's been saying this cheesy fluff for years now.

our band is fantastic but the announcing needs some work. things haven't changed in years, but some of the music has gotten a little better here and there. there was a whole thread on this a while back about how it's not helping the feel of the college atmosphere (i'm pretty sure it devolved into an OCS thread LOL)

It is so cringeworthy.  The home side and away side cheers while everyone is dying inside and embarrassed.  I don't think anything can be done though.  Apparently he has a tenured position and cannot be removed.

By the way, remember when we joked that he must have blackmail on Doug Woolard?  How time flies...

In all honesty, I have nothing against the guy.  Just wish he'd change up his delivery.  You'd think someone would have mentioned it to him over the years.   How about "Here comes your Herd of Thunder marching band!!!!!"
