If this team fails to beat SMU, then I am all aboard the fire Charlie train. This OOC game amounted to the ultimate pre-season test, nothing more, nothing less. Beating Wisonsin wouldn't have made any significant difference in the grand scheme of the season. We should perform significantly better against a GT that amounts to half a team next week. If we fail to do so, then all concern is warranted, and SMU may end up as a disaster. Edited August 31, 2019 by Vivadiscordia

Which would have made little difference in winning the conference. Let's face it, all that matters is beating UCF and folks will show up for that as a result of the rivalry. We have officially hit rock bottom when people now view them as the only game that matters. 1

If we could have a decent attendance against GT at home last year (which paled in comparison to Wisconsin this year). then we can manage a good crowd against UCF this year, assuming we don't **** the bed in conference play this year. This isn't the Big East, and we all know it whether we want to admit it or not. If we can do well in AAC play, then all complaints are off. If we can't, then 100% of complaints are valid. It’s at UCF and it won’t be packed with USF fans not that I think it really matters to our program if we have 5k people there or not. I don’t give a **** about the AAC this was the game I and most of the community had circled on their calendars and we **** the bed, again.

Anything else is extra. If we can't win the AAC then we fail, and are undeserving of P5 consideration.

Our years of empty stadiums should have taught you that. Our season will be officially over before we have the misfortune of rejoining our misfit toys you call conference mates. 10s of people go around saying how all that matters is hardware but something about a tree in the woods... And yet beating Wisonsin and still losing against UCF would relinquish our team to a **** year, and a **** bowl game. We need to win the conference. If we can't win the conference, then we can't expect any better. UCF is our obstacle, whether we like it or not. They have been consistent in AAC play and OOC play. We need to win the conference and beat them.. Edited August 31, 2019 by Vivadiscordia
