Alright! going with the green and gold chant.  I will get with Eric and make the arrangements.  Yes, it is simple, but I think this may get the students loud, if not the whole stadium!  I'm all about making noise. What does everyone think about "In Hall we trust"?  I could do some of those too.  Let me know!

I agree with this..but lets be honest..the student body president didn't get it right at the Round Up...I like the idea of the green and gold signs...and In Hall We Trust...good ideas...Can't wait till Saturday!  ;D

Funny thing about the alma mater. During the last game when the band was playing it, the woman behind me was singing it and the guy next to her says "oh they are showing the words on the screen on the side of the stadium". I looked up and say "tresspassed and arrested" roll by. All I could think of was, man did they change our alma mater or what? Then I realized those were instructions and warnings on breaking the rules of the stadium and not the alma mater.

While I have no problem with the Green and Gold chant, having 9,000 students holding up little flyers to try and start it is a bit absurd.

The "17" flyers were great because they were subtile yet effective to those who knew the significance.

To echo the sentiments of a few in the earlier post on this subject, you can't force it, just like you can't force traditions.

Traditions are created because something somewhat unique is started and accepted. Once you start trying to force tradition you're going to end up getting more people who don't want to do it because its forced.

If you have to try this hard to think of something to put on a square of paper, should probably just let it go for this one

There seems to be some confusion about what to say after we spell and say "South Florida" at the end of the fight song.

We always said "Go Bulls Go" as the words at the end as is as the alumni site indicate.   I think that is the way it is written, not "Goooo Bulls"
