Guest Wildrover
They went on and on about how a rivarly would be good for both teams, they were just as good as we are yadda yadda yadda. Can we put this rivariy thing to bed now please. The whole fact that none of them are back to eat their crow says something about them IMO. They are a second rate team playing in a second rate conferense, we have bigger fish to worry about and prepare for. I'd just as soon compare UCF to FAMU only without the band, next week we probably get it handed to us, but at least its from a real team that matters. I think that any fan base that sets itself up too high can only see what is happening tonight in UCF-land... a very hard loss to take. They are probably saying that they need linemen to give Moffet more time and more beef on defense. Their receivers, special teams and QB looked good. Our OL and DL were much better. The OL allowed AH and RP to work their magic and our DL totally took away their running game and forced errors in their passing. However, it is also now clear to a recruit who #4 in the state is, so will they be able to get the players they need to do well in C-USA? Some, perhaps. But enough?

Another less active group was seen sprawled along the ground in a prone position...no further news at this time.

I wasn't personally in favor of that move, but it doesn't take away from the fact that they got pwned all night long.http://ucf.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=71&mid=58372274&sid=&tid=58372274&style=

Most of the FAMU fans were cool and showed respect for our program while UCF fans were idiots.

Why? Because when you really need to pull it out of your bag of tricks, it's really helpful to know that you've executed it previously in 'game day' situations, and as such, can ascertain if you think it will be successful down the road. It's not done - necessarily - to 'run up' the score, so much as with the game in hand, this is an excellent time to experiment.
