What is the story with Howie......

I may have disagreed with Howie, but man, don't let it drive you away!  Everyone here has a right to their own opinion.  Several of us didn't agree with what he said.  I personally heard it live on the radio.  No biggie.  Just my opinion.  I even posted on this board that I respect his enthusiasm and love for our school.  I hope he can get over this hump and come back to his home here on the board.  His knowledge of this program is phenomenal.  He's a well-respected person.  I didn't really think that it got too personal.  Regardless,  Howie, we miss you.  We're your brothers/sisters in green and gold.  Give us all another shot!!

I do not know what Howie said or did - and I could care less.  He is entitled to his own opinions.

I met Howie a few seasons ago when Beef's on Fowler was the in place for watch parties.  He was a nice chap and an all around great USF fan.  Come on back man.

Howie is a grown man and I would like to think that I am as well. If he cant take criticism, maybe it's better off that he doesnt come back.

I have no problem with Howie or with anyone else on these boards. To me, he's being a baby. (IF this is in fact the reason that he's gone)

I have to agree with the above statement. Howie is acting like a chick. With that said, I did hear his radio comments and saw the message threads that developed after them. I didnt understand why people were attacking him. At least he called in.

Hightech, that .sig picture is hilarious.  I hadn't noticed that that game was apparently played at the Citrus Bowl in EA's pix, though.  Unfortunately, Hall won't be able to run them over there.  I guess we'll have to rely on Ponton.
