I agree 100%, just because the game was won, you don't go out there to score 100 pts. PJ only threw the ball about 12 times anyway, feed the ball to the rb's. Don't worry bout if PJ goes down, worry bout if andre goes down.   ???

i really hopes NO one goes down...but the way the 2 freshman RBs have been playing, we are pretty deep at RB.  clearly Hall is the best of the bunch though.

Denson needs to relax more.  He gets in there and tries to be superman.  I hate to say this but he kinda reminds me of Chris Rix but even less of a passer

I don't buy that Cyber. We weren't trying to hide anything with Denson and Hill at QB. Chances are they won't see the field at QB against UCF anyways. They were out there to get reps and show what they can do. Their passing attempts, or lack there of, where very dissappointing. I know thise kids can run, Sat night was their chance to work on their passing.

Uh, Saturday night was a refreshing change.  We ran the most vanilla offense I've seen us run in a while, basically toss sweeps and between the tackles, and absolutely dominated.  We didn't do that against Nicholls State, or TTech.  The point was to try mature our young OL, get them ready because this team is going to go only as far as Hall will take them.  Six big weeks coming up, the other night was to work on establishing a dominate running game.

The last I checked we threw the ball a ton against PSU and did it with proficiency, after the early drops, it was the running game that didn't get on track.  Which is why we worked on getting it on track Sat.

And now with 2 games in the books we still do not know if Denson or Hill has an arm. Man I hope we are prepared if PJ happens to go down with an injury. I am no PJ supporter, but at least I've seen what he can do with his arm.

We don't know what they can do, but the best part is UCF doesn't know.  The coaches know what they can or can't do so the play calling will be to their strenght. My hunch is that UCF will be caught with their armor down. You don't have 4 receiver sets just to gather rust.

And this was brought up on another thread ... GrothE should be getting reps ... hope he is. Not impressed with either we've seen.

Denson was named #1 after practice in Spring and Fall ... don't know what kinda practice Matt's having, but would expect his ga,me experience to be pretty good.

Well ... may have to wait until 2006.

Sure hope PJ stays healthy and continues to improve.

Go BULLS !!!
