From what I make of this so far is that Pitt made ND look really good and that ND is going to get smashed by MIchigan.  Talk about over hyped! Just because Pitt has some great players returning this year and with last years  winning record many thought pitt and the birds would be the teams to beat this year. From what I see so far neither one are as good as hyped up to be.

Ohio isn't even playing that well. The stops they've been getting were because Wannstedt's stoopid play call ran right into the defense. I mean, 4th-and-3 and they call a slow-developing pitch play that Ohio's pokey defense has all day to react to? Two minute drill, and they call the same dumpoff pass six times in a row? Twenty seconds to go and they call an inside handoff with no timeouts left? Geez. And Palko looks like Pat Julmiste against Louisville.

I know I'm supposed to root for our Big East brothers, but I can't help enjoying this.

I agree I can't stand wannstandt

He has ruined pitts offense

first 0-2 start for Pitt since 1984

I cannot WAIT for USF to play Pittsburgh so they can get their licks in. I just hope Wannstedt is still coaching then.

ummm..wow is all i gotta say, biggest win in Ohio football, Pitt not looking too good this season, and it doesn't look good for the Big East when its defending champion loses to a bottom feeder in i believe its the midwest conference.

Pitt needs to fire DW now, Pitt has lost to a bottom feeder MAC team.  Most people on this board knew that when Pitt hired DW they sealed their fate.  How long before Fire DW starts in Pitt?

Funny line from the Pitt board:

"Did anyone see Tyler Palko on The 4400. I think he was abducted."

Ok, Pitt runs the opening KO for 95 yds for a TD.

Dion Byrum runs back a 38 yds INT for a TD and Ohio kicks a FG to go up 10-7.

Pitt kicks a FG at 10 seconds to tie the game. Then Pitt gives up an 85 yds INT for a TD to Dion again to end the game in OT 16-10 Ohio.

Ohio was 4-7 last year and lost to Pitt 24-3. Ohio did beat Kentucky 28-16 in Lexington.

Pitt blew themselves up, but how bad will this hurt the BE perception this year? I'm thinking pretty bad.
