Hopefully they can get their game back on.

Let's see, Dave Wannstedt vs Frank Solich. I know who my money's on. Pitt better have a huge talent edge, for its own sake.

Pitt laid an egg.  Palko looked awful.

I hope they look like that for us.  Palko looked like he has never played before.  I hope our defense can put that kind of pressure on him.

They talk about the change Solich has brought to the Ohio program. They say the Ohio players are having fun and are buying into what Solich is doing.  I saw a Ohio team last night that looked united and well prepared. Even afer that kickoff return for a TD, Ohio played spirited ball. It was in the second QTR when I realized that Ohio had a chance to win this game. It was amazing to see Ohio play so well. Pitt was definitely caught off guard and their coach is soley responsible for once again not having his team ready to play. I don't think all the blame can be put on Palko. The Pitt's offensive line was porous and couldn't block on the running plays either. It is going to be a very long seaon if Pitt can not get their offensive line to play better. I was amazed that five guys that average 320 lbs. could be pushed around like that by a mid to low level MAC team. Truly amazed.

My hats off to Ohio as they deserved to win.  However, the Big East needs others to step up right now.

GO BULLS !!!!

Palko did throw two pics that were returned for touchdowns.  The first one was terrible.  His mechanics were awful and he was nowhere near his receiver.

The last interception return was beautiful.  Granted, I was rooting for Ohio due to my home state pride.

Palko was hurried and beat up that entire game. Ya, he played poorly, but the offensive line has to give him time to make the play. I also would like to credit the Ohio defense for Pitt's demise so I am willingly to cut Palko some slack.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
