Unfortunately, I was not able to make the 2:16 flight from CVG (Cincinnati) to DFW. I'm going to hang in the outback steakhouse in terminal B for the next five hours. However, I will be taking off 53 minutes into tonight's game.

Has anyone had success streaming a game live on an airplane? Gogoair usually isn't fast enough for live video. I'm thinking I'll watch the first 30 minutes or so and then find a radio station once the gogo kicks on? If any one has other suggestions I'm all ears.

I could watch the game on replay, but where's the fun in that?

gogoinflight is the only internet connectivity option on AA, so your result will depend on the website that will be streaming the game.  You can certain go the WatchESPN route but there may be another option that will be faster.

The e170 should have gogo.  Most of the widebodies are going with the upgraded Panasonic wifi instead of gogo (a very good thing), but the domestic narrowbodies should all have at least gogo, including the regionals.

Edit:  If you look at your itinerary on aa.com, it should indicate wifi on that particular flight

Doesn't AA have live TV?

EDIT:

Sorry missed flight details. Yeah I dont think the regional carriers (Envoy) have live tv.

I think you're screwed on AA.  If you were on Southwest, you just touch ESPN on their in flight portal and BAM, game is there for free.
