Got to talk to him at FAD.   Great kid!   Glad to have him as a Bull.   He still has a few years to make his mark at USF and I am sure he will be moving up the roster in the future.

What do you mean by up the roster?  just curious... it seems he already has the x wide out position... isn't that the #1 receiver position?  just asking because i really don't know????

#1 to #5 will pretty much get the same ops at WR.

We are very deep ... hopefully at talent also.

Go BULLS !!!

That's what happens when you get pegged for bad work ethic.  I'm sure this will light a fire under him.  You need more than 5 stars to be a starter, you need to actually get better and play well.

This is a very good sign though.  Think about it.  Peyton was our starter last year.  What the coaching staff is saying with this move is that we have FOUR players that can all outperform what we saw from our receiving corps last year.  That's exactly the kind of help an iffy QB needs!

Gotta run, gotta catch, gotta go full speed all the time, and gotta have the attitude. If Johnny P does not have this, he most assuradly will be fifth. My guess is, and hopefully it won't happen, but the kid will move on and quit the program. He has all the tools but for some reason or outside reasons he won't use them. I hope it is nothing serious.    Reaper

smazza, you could be the dumbest motha on this board, I'd b-slap you but it wasn't worth my time.

Johnny Peyton dropped three passes all year last year.  He graded out as the top catcher last year next to SJ Green.

He only averaged 21ypc, and nearly 500 yards total and only really played in 8 games.  AS A TRUE FRESHMAN!

Only two other freshmen in the entire nation achieved better stats as receivers.

By the way, JP will play, and he'll contribute.  Ask Sheriff, similar ploys were used to motivate DeAndrew Rubin and send a message to the team.  However, come game time, he's still one of the most talented if not the most talented receiver we've got.
