Guest Harvey Jones
I believe these two men deserve to have their contracts extended through 2010. If we are going to base there futures on the next two seasons they will know longer be employed by the school or they will be put in a lame duck situation. The jump in competition that both programs has made is enormous...especially basketball. These coaches need to be shown some type of long term commitment as they try to make us competitive in basketball and a contender in football. Thoughts..... Didn't they re-up with him long term after Alabama and Indiana came calling a couple of years ago? I think he does have a contract through 2010 or so.Not sold on the b-ball Coach, although he has his hands full with that program. We haven't had the recruits in the last couple of seasons. Big East should get us some, but we'll likely take our lumps to some really good teams.

Leavitt's allows him enough time to get this team adjusted to the BE and he's starting from a more even platform. CRM hasn't proven he can even win in a high mid major much less the BE. If the team shows steady improvement in it's first 2-3 seasons in the BE then extend it. If we wallow consistently in the bottom 3 then it's time to bring in new blood. Guest Harvey Jones
If were expecting either coach to have a winning record these next two years then your in LA LA land. Take off the blinders and look at the jump in competition. Stand behind the hires and give them momentum in recruiting to build for the future. Unfortunately basketball is doomed. Huggins-HELL YEAH! USF Collin would die in his sleep of this thought!

But the thing is that it will never happen Wollard will never hire Huggins. Wollard doesnt want criminals on campus. IMO CRM will get us to where we all want to be it just might take a while. Football it is realistic but slightly optimistic that we go above .500 this year. As for next year, a winning season should be EXPECTED, especially if our OOC is any easier.Basketball is much more grim but we have a good coach. Guest Sprtsfn627
I am 100% behind McCullum. I really think he's the man to lead us into the Big East for years to come.
