"This doesnt mean anything.  The coaching staff never tells the media anything.  Their comments are always noncommital."

That's what I thought too LAST year when I read them.  :-/

If we can't find a decent QB, then we should scrap the spread and run triple option out of the I-Form with Denson, Hall and Hill

This news has me worried, the top teams in the Big East are set at the QB position-L'ville and Pitt, I agree with others that Denson will most likely finish the season as the starting QB.  I was really hoping the PJ was going to step it up and play well, however, it seems that he has not progressed and become comfortable in the offense.  Or perhaps USF should bite the bullet and start Hill for the future, and as for Grothe if he was that good he would be in the "mix".  Grothe is a great running QB, however, he needs work on becoming a better passer, he needs to be Red Shirted.

I’m worried, last year the articles basically stated the same thing.  Poor play at the QB position, and it showed during the season.

I wonder if PSU had a scrimmage yesterday as well?

Question marks linger for Penn State

http://www.centredaily.com/mld/centredaily/12436182.htm

Their QB doesn't seem to be a Heisman candidate either with a 44% completion record, yet he thinks he'll play on Sundays. JoePa had this to say about that:

Joe Paterno winced, though, when told that Robinson said he was playing for his NFL future.

"Gee, I hope not,'' said the 78-year-old Penn State legend, who's entering his 40th year as the Nittany Lions' coach. "When they start thinking NFL, that worries me. You better pay attention to South Florida, the first game. Never mind the NFL. He hasn't proved he's a great quarterback in college yet. If he said that, he and I are going to have a talk.''

Okay ... finally found some good news ... didn't hear about INT's ... if our QB's can stay mistake free(for the most part), Hall will take care and we have some WR's that can take some yards after the catch.

Go BULLS !!!
