how about this senario

pj starts and we win 3 games and look bad(same as last year)

leavitt gets fired

new coach will either bring in new qb or start hill or grothe

loser of battle would transfer

That senario sucks.  Why do you want us to only win three games?

this thread is all over the place, but on cedric hill -- he's impressed tight ends coach greg gregory a lot. gregory said he's gone from 207 when he got to USF to 223 pounds, gotten thicker -- he'll be the impact newcomer at tight end this season. with ruegger/carter/bleakley also back, plan is to redshirt busbee and mcelwain, barring injuries.

How about SoCal is hit by a massive earthquake and falls off into the Pacific Ocean...smazza is never heard from again.

Being a realist is one thing, but quit with the negativity already.  Jeesh!

USF = Wide receiver U

It seems we will have the best wide receivers in the Big East for years to come.

Do we know if Grant has cleared?

Here is another WR who we recently got, who could end up being very good:

Another, freshman receiver Antwon Hanks of Lake Weir, has both size - 6-3, 205 - and speed: He finished fifth in the Class 3A state track meet in the 400 meters last year. Hanks had 822 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season. He was recruited by Clemson and Georgia Tech but opted to stay close to home at USF, where he has 75 percent of his tuition covered by academic scholarships.

**** straight.  A realist, or negative doesn't come close to resemble smazza when he flips negative on a coach.   Leavitt's proven himself, he definitely deserves to stick around and coach.

    "There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
