Since this came up in the in-game thread and not sure if anyone goes back to it after the game, it looks like he could apply for a redshirt for either the 2015-2016 or 2016-2017 seasons, assuming it was a legit injury and documented. He played in less than 30% of the games both years and did not appear in a game during the second half of the season for either one as well. No idea what the situation was at TTU, but with our VERY depleted roster last season, anything above being in a wheelchair would have had him on the floor for 2016-2017.

All along thought he was a Jr, but see he is listed as a SR.  So I guess he could actually be a grad transfer and go somewhere else too

I’m shocked and appalled at you, Trip.

Yeah, even though I thought it needed that emphasis on how bad he was, may be bad form ........ Hiding.

He had to sit out the Fall 2016 semester because of when he transferred in. Pretty sure he only played in 5 games in the Spring of 2017 because he was just that bad, not because of injury. Don't know how that works, or his time at TTU, in getting him a sixth year. He should get next year because of the Transfer Rule. TJ Lang is also listed as a Senior but will be eligible to play next year because of the Transfer Rule ................

In the men's basketball team guide I picked up at the Memphis game Jan. 31, it lists Manderson as a RJr.

Mystery solved. Do you still have it? Wonder how it lists Lang, if the full roster id on there ...

TDS has him as a RSJr. as well.

https://www.thedailystampede.com/2017/11/6/16614920/better-know-a-usf-basketball-player-isaiah-manderson-brian-gregory-texas-tech

And GoUSFBulls.com calls him a RSJr. in this writeup.

Redshirt junior forward/center Isaiah Manderson (Bronx, N.Y) is coming off his first double-double after finishing with 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in a 70-56 win over Northern Arizona on Monday night.

I'm sure they'll get around to changing it at some point ...
