They "bullieved" they could build something, not maintain something built by others. They rebuilt the program. Now it will take generations of players after them to continue to build this program to the point it can consistently compete on the national stage (starting with the stage in Tampa). I hope they stay engaged with the program and I hope that CCS has a great alumni outreach plan. They laid the foundation for this era. This program desperately needs to find a way into the P5 conferences. Their class and the classes following, along with the coaches, administrators and fans have got to keep building. They made USF Football fun to watch again. I would tune in just to see Marlon Mack. QF was a human highlight film. Thank you class of '17.

That tweet brought a tear to my eye. Lamar is one of my all-time favorite players. Pound-for-pound, we may have never had a better one. Glad to see he's still involved. In January of 2016, he moved to the role of special assistant to the head coach under Charlie Strong. A 2012 graduate of USF and four-year letterman for the Bulls, Lamar earned Big East Special Teams Player of the Year honors in 2010 as a kick returner. He set a USF season record with 903 kick return yards that season, including two returns (a 100-yarder at Louisville and a 94-yarder vs. Syracuse) for touchdowns while averaging 26.6 yards per return. It will be interesting to see how CCS utilizes him. He might actually be faster than Adrian Killins of UCF!
