Includes the regional Fox Sports channels (Sun, Florida, etc...) does not include FS1/2.

Not sure this is great news for the AAC come contract time.

Bad news IMO, less buyers to compete for the contract.

Perhaps Fox is building up capital to purchase an entire conference from ESPN. The American gets Fox into the entire east coast. Something they've wanted for years.

How is it bad news? All Fox did was cut channels that are sucking funds. They kept the channels people truly care about.  Let ESPN keep spending unnecessary funds.

This is actually good news for the AAC if it intends to court FOX. FOX now only has The News Channel, the Business Channel, then all the Sports channels including a major player in the PAC-10 and B-12 in FS1 and The Big Ten Network.  To me it seems they know their future is not in news and Gen Info anymore. Positive for US in the long run.

What sports channels? FS1 and 2? That’s all they have sports related. They already show three other conferences (including Big East BB)on those networks. The Big 10 Network is for the Big 10. Where would the AAC games be shown?...,The Business Channel? Their two primary channels already has inventory. I would be shocked if they placed a bid for AAC games.

So much is changing right now with the puchase and net neutrality issue nobody can tell us if it is going to be positive or negative with a straight face.

What I hope is that in addition to cable espn, disney will certainly have a formiddable streaming service ( sorry netflix) that will create a new revenue stream for the company that will help us get paid fairly.
