The Citrus Bowl is in a rough area, but I never heard if any major issues.

That's because there are no survivors ........    8)

Even if UCF has sold almost 5K tix for the game, I don't see them bringing 12K.  The UCF hardcore that have been crying for this game to be played have already ordered their tix, and getting the incrementals down the road will be more difficult.  Might be a lower bowl sellout, but there will be more at FAMU.

So you think that the "hardcore" numbers around 5,000 ??  I would say that number probably doesn't include any UCF students... you have to figure that there will be a few thousand students... add in the Tampa Bay UCF alumni, who probably won't buy their tickets out of the UCF block...

I think 12,000 might actually be a low estimate...

If that happens, Jim, then I'll admit I was wrong.  However, I don't see UCF bringing that many people.  I know there's a contingent of their fans that have been clamoring for this game for some time, but I still don't see it being that big of a deal.  The last thing their fans want is to see them lose to us.

Jim is right, half my HS went to UCF and i heard of a lot of people who are going to this game ..  there should be a decent amount of ucf students for usf students to fight with.

I believe the goal is to have several buses travel over.  I know the GKC and Alumni Association are chartering several buses and selling packages for USF.  Also, I have heard that there may be buses for 500-1000 students to go over.

I think 12K is a very reasonable and possible number.

Many people I know are going to the game.  I have 12 tickets myself.  Friends of mine who graduated from UCF, but do not even go to the home games are planning to go.

There is no way this game has less than 45-50K people at the game.  The upper deck WILL be open.

UCF traveled over 5,000 to Wisconsin last year.  Many away games have had between 5-7K travel.  This game is less than 2 hours west.

USF will benefit this year from good attendance.  I wouldn't be suprised if USF averaged 35K or more this year.

Definitely 38K-39K.  I believe we'll see 10K UCFr's.  I think there's about a 40% chance the upper deck gets opened.  As for the attendence, with 3 of 5 being in the first month & the fourth being WVU & homecoming is big.  I think a 35K average is not unrealistic but that last game in Nov. may be a little empty considering its UC and a winning record could be out of reach if our Bulls do not upset one of @PSU, @UM, @UL, WVU or @Syracuse.  And lastly, when Leavitt said "15", I think he meant 15,000.

UCF

When do/did single game tix go on ? What's the early numbers like ?

I am sure we'll have the upper bowl quite a bit full.

UF

After we beat the gayterds in gaynesville, would love for us to drop the game  ;D

Go BULLS !!!
