Hey fellow Bulls fans! I usually post about CCC players after they receive an offer from USF to do my small part to keep this board updated with local prospects. Earlier this year our Sophomore DT Jerzhan Newton and Junior RB Jerjuan Newton received offers from USF (yes, they're brothers)I missed the boat about posting them since I got caught up with our season and there wasn't much film at the time; however, now that our season is over and have more film- here you go.

Jerjuan Newton, Co 2019, 6'0 180

Is an athlete, but I believe USF is recruiting him as a DB. We played him at RB, WR, SR, KR, PR, DB, SS, FS, wildcat QB and if he could drive the bus to road games, I've no doubt he could do that to. Very good speed and has the frame to add more weight for college. Solid hitter. Solid in the classroom.

Jerzhan Newton, Co 2020. 6'3 230

He'll be recruited as a DT, but actually lined up and played RB, DT and MLB for us as Sophomore. He's a younger guy, but he's solid in the classroom and is one of the strongest highest school football players I've seen at the Sophomore level. He started his entire Freshmen year at DE/DT in 2016.

Did you mean DE? That's awful light for a DT, even if it is a couple of years away ///

That's what I was thinking.  Chances are that he'll grow an inch or two, but he'd have to put on at least 50 lbs

You are 100% correct, I meant DE not DT. It was a case of me typing a bit to fast.   He did play DT for us this year (our game against Rockledge comes to mind), but he's being recruited as a DE at the college level. If I hear anything USF wise in the Clearwater area that doesn't get posted, I'll throw it up. Thanks!
