Something I’ve noticed lately is AP voters defending their ranking or unranking of us by how lightly we’re beating teams we’re supposed to be dominating. Both Florida and SDSU struggled against unranked teams this week while we almost shut out an inferior opponent. Will there be another excuse or will things play out better for us?

. We are judged by different standards. We have to play a perfect 60 minutes and eradicate our weak opposition to get any national respect.

I think their issue is how light our schedule is. None of the teams we've played will be in bowl games (Temple might, but it will be a grind)

Alot of teams struggled vs non ranked teams...Penn St, Oklahoma, Michigan again, UF, SDSU, Lsu...but USF had a slow first quarter ha

I don't get what you want then.

Our ceiling is the NY6 bowl. 

Had any other team P5 or G5 been in our position, with the schedule we've played many would have issues with our current ranking. 

SDSU has a legit gripe. Us, let's wait

This is what I'm getting at. (Not just our fans) but a fanbase is going to spin the poll to meet their own arguments.

Again, who have we played that makes you believe we should be a top 20 team?

SDSU has two power 5 wins, one over a team that many feel is a legit top 25 team. Plus a road win over an Air Force team that gave Michigan all they could handle. They a legit argument to not over be above us, but above several P5 opponents.

Are they that good? Are we that good? That's why you play out the season and not lose your **** because a week 4 poll isn't how you want it

^^^totally agree. A lot of teams ahead of us will lose. I am certain SDSU will lose at least 1 game.
