AP with SDSU and Boise switching places, #33 and #36 respectively. No other G5 receiving votes. Would be nice to see other AAC teams getting votes in that poll.

Agreed. But it is nice that we are the one team that is ranked as well :GoBulls:

Whew.

We dodged a bullet. Very happy, but we need to trounce Illinois soundly next week.

Winning is not enough, we need to dominate and win big, especially in the OOC games, to continue moving up.

If we play Illinois and beat them soundly we'll hop up. Illinois defense doesn't look like a joke.

You should re read that . Houston is getting votes in both polls.

Completely missed them just behind SDSU in the AP. Glad they're getting votes.

Coaches poll is a joke.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
