Madagan is seeking a replacement for assistant Cedric Smith, who has resigned after two seasons to become men's basketball strength and conditioning coach at Virginia Tech. A former South Florida standout, Smith will be reunited with former Bulls coach Seth Greenberg. Madagan was a Greenberg assistant at USF. ``I hate to lose him, but it's a great opportunity for him,'' Madagan said. ``He needed to get back to that level and that kind of networking. I pushed him out the door.'' Story Link You see Sheriff, you can go back home...  ;D When I saw this, I was hoping he'd be taking an assistant's job at a bigger school... Good for Cedric though....St. Leo would be a near dead-end.

Guest S. Bien
Your selfless, unwavering support of the men's basketball program at USF is truly an inspiration to us all. That's the truth. Cedric is a long way off to realizing an opportunity as a HC for a Big East program, but this is a good step in the right direction. Great guy, and good for Greenberg to give him the opportunity.Triple, those two were my favorites as well. I always wondered what could have happened if Chonsey's knees had stayed healthy when he was a junior and senior playing next to BB, and Tron.
