1. we haven't won ****. This team loss one AAC game and it was enough to keep them from a title.

2. Even though we was 11-2 last year, both lossess was humiliating.

3. Our bad years still haunt the seniors. They want to get the taste of that Mcneese state game out of thier mouth.

4. Defense - These guys dont have a chip on thier shoulder, they have a tree on it! lol They had one half decent year under Tom Allen and have been torched on and off the field. Imagine being 11-2 while being ranked 100 in defense. I hope thry feel like **** about it and in the words of Taggart "do something". Im sure they have read the blogs, comments and jokes about how sorry they are. We have the defensive talent.

These 4 reasons alone is why Im not worried about complacency.

5.) There's a brand new coaching staff that hasn't had a lick of recent success. They want to prove they are the best in the business and will wreak havoc on the AAC to prove it. Maybe they are looking towards the next job, but right now know they need to prove it with a loaded roster.

I have a feeling QF's leadership will also guard against complacency.

Great point. Just listening to Q in interviews he sounds like a man. No cut up, joking, or eye winks. He sounds focused and serious. Probably due to his background and an appreciation of opportunity.
