No point spread, come on......Vegas baby!

I think it's too close to call so I'd hold onto my money.  I certainly don't think either team is a run away favorite.  However, I'm certain Vegas will have PSU by 10 or more.

In that case, I say we don't even play!

And I think Vegas would be correct.  Although I think it will be more than 10 points.

Listen, nobody hopes we win my than I but, I remember last year so many were just sure we could beat South Carolina, they pounded us like cheap w hores!

Well PSU is no S Car, they're better!!!

Just as we shouldn't play when Vegas has us as the dogs.

The stats are interesting, however.  You can truly see how bad their offense was.

Thier Defense is certainly better than SC.  I am guessing the Penn State game will be similar to TCU in '03 when we lost 13-10.  It will be a low scoring game with both offenses struggling.

According to Penn St.'s preditions thread, most of their posters have us losing by 35 pts or more.  Either they believe their offense has greatly improved, or they think our defense will be as bad as last year. This is the team that lost 4-2 at home to Iowa right?

Ah that's right.  I knew it was a whacky score.  They had the #10 defense last year and return everyone so I can understand their fans thinking shutout, but scoring eight touchdowns?  Let's hope not.

I think if it low scoring we can keep it close but if they get up by 2tds we might be on the verge of getting blown out.

We need to step it up and beat a BCS team other than Pitt on the road.

We had good luck in PA in 2001 now we need to do it again!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
