Better Digs = Higher Ranked &  Better Developed Recruits = Better Players = Mo' Consistent Play = More Wins = Post Season Appearances...not to mention a weaker baseball conference.

The problem is we've already recruited quite well, relative to our program and facilities.  In fact, many of our players were very highly sought after, and in some cases by the Big Three.  Also, remember we've had the fortune of usually getting 1-2 solid transfers from bigger named schools.   I just don't see our recruiting improving much more, unless we build the next Legends Field on campus.  We're always going to have a very vicious recruiting battle in this state with programs that have comparable digs, so adding a stadium may sway 1-2 recruits, it won't sway the masses.

Furthermore, many of our top players have continually committed errors, or never appeared to improve their game greatly while at USF.  I'll agree it's easy to lose without great bats, or decent pitching but man it's difficult to stomach, when over the past five years, USF can conceivably find 3-4 losses that could be attributable to poor fielding.  That's unacceptable.

Man it's like a horror movie; everyone goes inside, and stays clear while the locusts feast.  Once he's done everyone can come out and play again.

As far as recruiting goes-the Bulls have a number of players that were recruited heavily by Miami, Florida, FSU,UCF,Stetson, South Carolina, Clemson, and Tulane to name a few. One freshman even committed to U of M and came to USF for a lesser scholarship. Another freshman had a full(including academics) scholarship to Tulane and turned it down to attend USF.

Recruiters have done a good job-very few HS players get to college and succeed without improving from the HS level. That's what coaches are for.

Facilities have very little to do with improving players'

skills. Good coaching will produce a winner if he only has

a cow pasture to practice in. Again, How does Duke recruit and win with an awful facility?
