Best College Town bars we've been at!

1. Rathskeller- State College Pa. Penn State- Served cases of 8 oz ponies when you ordered Rolling Rock!

2. Mothers- Charleston Illinois- Eastern Ill. University-

Had a contest to drink a yard of beer under a minute. If you did, name went on a plaque. If you go to EIU, you will see yours truly on a plaque. Listen, it is harder that you think, using a glass regualtion yard glass.!

3. McCabes- DeKalb Illinois- NIU- Had shots of peppermint schnapps and a 12oz Old Style beer for 90 cents. It also made for a great night. considering the honeys who also took advantage of that loss leader.

All in all, these great places come to my mind. There maybe more I have been to, but I just can't remember them. maybe it was the booze...   ::toasting::  [smiley=icon_drink.gif] ::bottle:  Reaper

Bridget's?? i dated a girl named bridget ... but that's a different post. I remember a bar in Alabama don't remember much about it but they had great hamburgers ... Mike B, if you're reading this you might know. They had good boos, music and food. Can't beat that! Boy was that Alabama trip a good time.

Chasers - Princeton, WV - Concord College  $5 Kamikaze pitchers on Thursday Nites.  College students get in free.  Made for a few missed classes Friday morining...back when they had Friday classes.

Don't know the name of the bar but they have/had a "Beginning of the World" party and an "End of the World" party every yr.  Radford/Blacksburg, VA.  The skirt populus is thick and the beer is cold, cheap & flowing.

The Chimes - Baton Rouge, LA

Located right at the north gate for LSU, this place is ALWAYS full of hot chicks and has the BEST beer selection in town.  It is also attached to the Varsity Theater, which gets a lot of good rock concerts.  The downside is that the food sucks, but who's eating anyways when there's about 150 different kinds of liquid bread available?

I remember the place you're talking about, it was in the Five Points area of Birmingham.  However, I was half in the bag when we went in, and fully in the bag when we left, so I don't remember the name of the place.  MikeG and Bullsmania were with us, maybe they remember?
