FSU President John Thrasher announced terms Monday. Thrasher says FSU will pay Erica Kinsman $250,000 and her attorneys $700,000 Thrasher says the university is settling to avoid spending millions on the lawsuit.

Ironically, this has nothing to do with Winston's guilt or innocence.  It has to do with FSU ignorning the complaint against federal regulations.  They could have done the whole student conduct thing a year earlier and been in the clear.
