Flowers Better Game Manager Than Daniels

It looks like early on Flowers is the better game manager.  He has taken care of the pigskin much better than our former qb who fumbled and threw too many picks.  What will Willie do next year if Woulard is a BJD--more eye candy but a turnover machine?

As long as Q never has to throw the ball down field, he will take care of the ball.

Willie still needs to win  more games to be sure he is here next season .

An NFL career doesn't correlate to a great college career--see Aaron Lynch.  Both Daniels and Flowers are not qbs-- note Daniels never played a down as a qb.  He was a great athlete but USF will need a real qb to crack the 25, and stay there.

 

flowers does look smart though.

He is a good game manager, he warms up slow in games, gets a tad more accurate later in games it seems.

8 tds and 4 ints passing is better than most expected from him after 5 games.

maybe just needs some reps.  Going through another learning curve if Woulard starts next year might be painful.

From the little I saw from a Woulard at practice he throws a really nice pass. Could be a interesting summer camp next year for starting QB job.

Flowers has all season to show improvement in his passing game though.

I was always critical of BJ, and he's far better than Flowers.  Anyone that thinks Flowers is a better QB than BJ must be a fan of cricket, because they sure as heck don't know anything about football.  If BJ had the running backs that Flowers has, we would have had a Top 10 offense.
