After today's performance I was interested in how low this ranks of all our seasons as far as total offensive passing.

Lowest passing games for the entire history of USF:

Yr      Yrds

1997: 174  23 for 37   Barnhardt etc       vs WKU            L 31-3 (CWT QB for WKU!!)

1998: 101  12-20        Barnhardt etc         vs C. Southern  W 24-0

1999: 75    9-19          Blackwell               vs J. Madison   L 13-3

2000: 60     7-15         Blackwell             vs J. Madison W 26-7

2001: 129   14 for 33   Blackwell             vs Utah St.        W 34-13

2002: 102  14 for 36    Blackwell             vs Arkansas       L 42-3

2003: 79    3 for 11     Julmiste               vs C. Southern   W 55-7 (Andre hall 6 rushing TD)

2004: 67    3 for 21     Julmiste etc          vs Lville             L 41-9

2005: 69    11 for 31   Julmiste etc          vs Miami            L 27-7

2006: 127   19 for 36  Grothe etc            vs Cinnci            L 23-3

2007: 122   17 for 27  Grothe                 vs FAU              W 35-23

2008: 124   9 for 18    Grothe                 vs UCONN         W 17-13

2009: 77     6 for 16    Daniels                vs Miami            L   31-10

2010: 57     7 for 11    Daniels                vs WKU          W  24-12 (CWT WKU head coach!!)

2011: 128   18 for 30  Daniels                vs Notre Dame   W 23-20

2012: 109   13-28       Floyd etc              vs Pitt               L  27-3

2013:  66    6-26         Eveld etc              vs Michigan St.  L  21-6

2014:  89    5-20         White etc              vs NC State      L 49-17

2015:  60    10-22       Flowers etc            vs Maryland      L 37-17

We were 3 yrds off from the worse performance in program history which interesting happened against CWT as head coach at WKU in 2010. CWT also makes another guest appearance in 1997 where we had the worse passing game of our season against WKU this time CWT as the QB.

Interesting to see CWT weave in and out of our history...particularly for the worse passing game of our history...

Wow, the great Bulls HOF Marquel Blackwell had a 60 yd. passing day.  Imagine that.  There are some on here that have called for his canonization.

We all know QF should have had considerably more yards than 60, for reasons out of his control.  The part of the 60 yards that concerns me is passes being perfectly thrown and dropped by our wideouts.

And all the passes thrown 5 yards short and bounced to the recievers.

True Ga, but drops are part of the game.  There are drops when QBs throw for 300+ yards.  60 is abysmal

Our QB is handcuffed.  Hard for him to do too much when he's throwing screens behind the line of scrimmage about 20-25 yards away half the game.

CWT is calling what QF can do, just like against SMU last year only then he only could run 4 or 5 plays...don't kid yourself that QF is being handcuffed...when SB gets in the game, the offensive game planning gets more depth bc he can actually make throws besides a reciever screen or a long pass to a wide open reciever...geez get off it already.

It's funny, all I hear is CWT can't coach, CWT can't coach (I agree so far) but now you have Bull-Hornz that actually believes that CWT is calling what QF can do.

So to recap, CWT doesn't know **** about coaching, but he has evaluated QF correctly in that he ONLY calls plays that QF can run ... ?

Really?

The next QB that CWT has handled correctly will be his first.  I don't buy your argument for a second, Bull-Hornz.

Link pls where I have said CWT can't coach... don't make strawman arguements...I am borderline about to ignore you bc your perspective is just becoming less and less relevant to me.

Willie Taggart can't coach. I'll say it. I knew more about calling plays when I got 'Tecmo Bowl' for NES.

Hey! I get crap on here for talking meany bad about QF, who is a sensitive flower that will feel pain if we talk bad about him.

I'll say it again, even though it's just considered 'hating' when I say it- HE IS NOT A COLLEGE QUARTERBACK.

He is an athlete just running around back there, and he has no arm whatsoever.

He is a poor man's Courtney Denson. Hopefully the next head coach puts him at maybe WR or DB, or just shows him brochures for Bethune Cookman and hope he takes the hint.

But hey, I want Willie (and Harlan) fired, so if he wants to start Thor Jzkajkakjzk at QB, fine by me.

Awesome, so you ignore perspectives that are different than yours on a regular basis?  How very millennial and, frankly, ignorant.  Feel free to ignore me, but it won't stop me from commenting.

You do realize you are not the only one on this board that believes what you believe, right?
